Midnight Sun Run 10k

The Fairbanks Daily News Miner Midnight Sun Run 10km race is one of the largest annual running events in Alaska and attracts runners from all over the country and the world. The course is certified by USA Track & Field and has recently been selected as a Road Runners Club of America Western Region Championship Event (2022), State Championship Event (2023), and National Championship Event (2024). This uniquely northern event kicks off at 10pm at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and gives participants a tour of local neighborhood’s packed with spectators, music, and refreshments. The evening is full of festivities including a costume contest and post-race beer garden at Pioneer Park. Proceeds from the event support the Fairbanks Resource Agency, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assuring Interior Alaskans with disabilities and their families have equal opportunity.
