Beat Beethoven 5k
The Beat Beethoven 5k race, the running race season opener, is organized by and benefits the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra (FSO). Racers enter for a chance to beat the famous composer to the finish line and to win a voucher to attend a Symphony concert. Each year KUAC broadcasts the Symphony’s recording of Ludwig van Beethoven’s famous 5th Symphony live for this event.
