Mosquito Meander 5k

The Mosquito Meander 5k is an annual fun run benefiting the Resource Center for Parents and Children. This family friendly race travels through local neighborhoods and along the Chena River, and you’ll want to be sure to keep an eye out for the famous Mosquito mascot! Racers are treated to a post-race bbq at Pioneer Park. This event, sponsored by a huge number of local businesses, raises funds that provide services for children, youth, and their families throughout interior Alaska and to raise awareness of and prevent child abuse and neglect.
